Financial freedom. My bet is, this is something you have dreamt about for yourself.
These days with the rise and rise of the internet, more and more women are jumping online to build businesses with the aim of giving them more time, freedom and money.
In short, their quest is to become financially free.
However, one thing they forgot is that financial freedom is not just bringing in 5-figure months, travelling the world and updating their Instagram from Paris (which I am NOT knocking by the way, as it’s served me well for the past few years!).
Financial freedom, however, actually means bringing in enough revenue to cover your living expenses … without you having to work.
I’ve been listening to T Harv Ecker (author of Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind) again recently – I’m feeling called to more ‘masculine’ ways of thinking and doing business, and I encourage you to do so too.
What I mean by that is that the ‘new’ way of creating a business – service-based, online, based on your personal brand – is a somewhat ‘feminine’ way of doing business. There is a low entry point to get started as you can literally start it with an internet connection.
‘Masculine’ ways of doing business are very focused on strategies and the mechanics of your business.
A great business combines both the feminine and the masculine energies.
And I, personally, want to encourage female entrepreneurs in particular, to adopt more masculine approaches in their business.
In short, you MUST have the ‘hard’ systems, strategies and set ups to ensure your business moves you towards being financially free.
So, I want to get you thinking.
Is your business on it’s way to getting you financially free?
Or is your business so heavily reliant on YOU that if you were unable to ‘work’ in your business, there wouldn’t be a business?
Listening to T Harv Eker reminded me that smart business people set their businesses up so they eventually do not rely on the owner. Their business becomes a facilitator to financial freedom, not just a short term focused goal of bringing in $10k months.
So, what is your long term plan with your business model? Could your business ever bring you true financial freedom? Could your business eventually become an EMPIRE in which you serve as CEO and have others provide the service/product without you working IN the business?
Comment below and let me know – it’s my mission to inspire, motivate and teach women how to build truly sustainable businesses and therefore extraordinary lives.
