Dana Dinnawi has been a health coach for almost five years. Her journey started with overcoming her own weight and health issues completely naturally with food, nutrition and lifestyle changes.  Through her own rehabilitation and transformation, Dana came to her life’s calling.

 

Since then, Dana has nurtured the Empowered Wellness movement serving strong, intelligent women between 30-50.  They can be single or married with kids, but either way, they are:

  • fed up with yo-yo dieting
  • want to lose those last 5-10 kg once and for all

The stories are often similar. They have put in a huge amount of effort into losing weight but they’re frustrated, overwhelmed, procrastinating and sabotaging themselves, but want it to work so badly and feels like they’re doing everything ‘right’ and tried everything they can think of, but it all seems like such a struggle.

 

They’ve had temporary success with short term diets but still not seeing the long lasting results they really desire since they always gain all the weight right back.

 

They’re worried that they don’t have anymore willpower and that if they don’t find a solution they might have to spend the rest of their lives in the cycle of yo-yo dieting, or worse, give up altogether and stay overweight, tired, feeling old forever and that terrifies them.

On an emotional level, they are uncomfortable and have very little self confidence when it comes to themselves; their emotions and their health, even though they are successful as a mother, wife and in their career. They are exhausted from always having to do what they ‘should” instead of what they want and suffer huge guilt that they’re never good enough for the people they love the most even though they do everything in their power to make them happy.

The important thing to really stress here is that success in a lifestyle change comes with determination and commitment – to work with Dana and truly leverage her knowledge and support, Dana requires you to have a no-excuses policy with yourself and be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Q. Dana, what is your mission for yourself in business?

I am a holistic health and wellness lifestyle coach, editor and publisher of Empowered Wellness and Living Magazine.

I’m in the business of showing strong, smart, independent women how to take back control of their lives from what they eat and how they look, to what they do and how they feel.

I help them break out of the cycle of yo-yo dieting once and for all and make clean eating a way of life so they can shed the last stubborn kilos; get rid of sugar cravings; fatigue and regain their willpower around food so they can regain their energy and self-confidence to refocus on themselves and create a guilt-free lifestyle that fills them up daily.

Q. What do you stand for?

My core belief is that your body and your health belong to you and you can take back control the minute you decide to.

Q. What are your top 5 keys to business (and or life) success?

Faith; Patience; Transparency; Innovation/Variety; and Travel

Q. What is something most people don’t know about you?

I am a third culture kid. My mother is an Egyptian Christian, my father is a Muslim Lebanese and I was born and raised in an American oil company compound in Saudi Arabia.
